Hi .. I have a 4.0 chim. What should be a healthy oil pressure? I have had the car a week now .. and when I bough it it was quite high .. i.e. nr 60 ..And then when warm it would hover in the middle of 30 – 60 it now settles on 30 when at normal running temp . And some time pops back up between 30 –60 , but when Revd drops to 30 ! Any clues? Is this normal.. ?

That all sounds fine for a 400, although with revs it should rise a little rather than fall...

As a general rule, just learn what's normal for your car and take action if anything unusual happens. If it drops below an indicated 10 psi or the red warning light comes on then you've got a problem and should stop straight away.
