Looking for a good solid track car. What would you boys recommend? looking to pay around £45k-50k max.

I know there both very different machines. Thoughts please.

Gary! I wasnt hinting at Henry's GT2, although that car could be a consideration. Please guys honest thoughts.

Apologies for the screen name, others on the biker banter section have told me there is another Uncle Dave!

Good solid track car = GT3.

For 45-50k, you can find either a good RHD Mk1 or private (maybe indie) Mk2.

Subtle but different characters.

Good luck.

Get LHD - they're better.

Yeah LHD was actually a preference for track use. Ok, sounds good!

So im on the look for a zanzibar/Speed yellow MK1 LHD GT3!

Unless Henry will take 35k for the GT2?! Just Kidding!

I don't think he has talked for long enough about selling yet, usually takes about 6-7 months of idle chat before he puts pen the ad (by which time he has usually bought the replacement so really has to get off his arse and do something about it). Mind you they are more often than not an epic tale so usually worth the wait
