V8S - how much for a good un?

I have always liked the V8S and have driven a couple of really prime examples when I was looking for the Griff. They really appeal to me for their open top, grunty motor, real car 'thing'.

For 7-10k can I get a good un?

Just spotted in the PH classifieds Mica Blue in Wrexham - Looks the business. Maybe worth a start

Alternative would be to employ Rob Ingleby the car finder-a lot of Tiv's have had his seal of approval - to the point advertisers state when selling on a car. Almost as good as a full history and probably ads to resale value as well!

V8S's are brilliant - just sold mine for a very good price (for the purchaser )

The blue one looks a corker, buy a V8S and you won't stop grinning. Bit sad mine had to go really, but there we go, at least it's going to someone who will enjoy it.

I think you can get a good V8S for £10K but not fully sorted, of course there are always going to be bargains (time of year etc) but I think for a completely sorted V8S you would be looking at more between £10-£12K. Ones below this mark will need of a little bit of TLC in terms of leather, bodywork, underneath, wheels etc.. to bring up to what I would call very good (and Waaaayy short of what Andy calls very good ) We all know that in the photos S series cars look fantastic when maybe they arent actually that great in the flesh

As I intend to keep mine the prices dont bother me, but if you want my advice.... buy one! They are fantastic fun cars and make sure you grab one within the next few months as the best prices are always in Nov/Dec

I can only think of a couple of V8S's that are worth more than 10k in the real world. I would say given the time of year and with 10k in ypour pocket the worlds your oyster.
A fair price is 7-9k and has been for a long time.

Seriously I wouldn't say no to another V8S in the future so its not in my interest to talk them up now ...................
