Since I had alternator difficulties my radio has packed in. Presume it is in some way related as alternator problem fried the battery. It is totally dead although everything else works fine. Assume it is a fuse although my diagram doesn't show a radio fuse in the footwell (93 4.3) Think there may be a fuse behind the radio itself, if so is it an easy job to remove etc?

Thanks.

Hi
Good chance there is an inline fuse in the main power feed behind the actual radio unit; some radio’s may have a small fuse on the back. There are special tools that slide down either side of the radio depending on which one you have to help you remove it.
Hope this helps
