Coming down the Batheaston bypass from the M4 doing 50 and twat in golf sets off the scamera im in the lefthand lane and he is in the right hand lane , there are markings on my side but not on his he definately triggered the scamera as as soon as it flashed i looked at the speedo ,dead on 50 . Now thing is who are they going to rob ? ive just got rid of three points so am taking it easy . If i receive an NIP im am going to be very very very ive got his reg etc just in case , so what do you reckon will happen . Bearing in mide we are dealing with a load of brainwashed ****wits

He's probably going to be in the picture, and the lines+time diff will show your speed to be what it is.

Surely you'll be ok?

The problem, of course, is that you may need your "day in court" to show it...

I've been flashed when sticking to the spped limit, triggered by speeding passing cars..never received anything....yet

speed limit there is 50? AFAIK your speed is calculated by looking at how far you've travelled btwn the time the GATSO takes its two photos, hence why it flashes twice. That'll show you were doing 50, so you should be fine.

What happens with the Tru-velo units then? SInce they only flash once, and there is a new one near me that goes both ways (careful Mungo! ) how could I prove that it was not me speeding in the picture?

You don't have a problem Denny. The two photos combined with the lines on the road will prove you were not speeding. I don't know if they'll bother with the golf driver if his lane had no lines.

Can't speak for GB but "over 'ere" no photos are admissible with more than one vehicle on it, as any one of these could have triggered the Scamera!!!
Seem to be more sensible here than in GB nowadays and thats in Germany!!!!! Never thought I'd see the day that that happened!

Truvelos tend to use inductive loops under the three closely positioned white lines on the road to double check your speed, AFAIK. If they can't work out which one of you is speeding they are likely to dismiss it as the case would be too easy to throw out.

I have been flashed in roadworks when someone came charging past me, and didn't get a ticket (as I wasn't speeding anyway), but he might have done.
