Delivery of a new Tvr in the last month or two?

I'm wondering has anyone taken delivery of a new Tvr from the factory in the last month or two? So many people say they weren't building new cars the last few months at all. If you have when was the order placed? How long did it take altogether? Any info you may know would be helpful, thanks.

I was speaking to the guy at my local TVR dealer whilst my Tamora was getting MOT'ed yesterday, and he was saying that it was difficult to get new cars before the factory closer let alone now. There must be some really pissed off guys still working at the factory knowing that they are loosing their jobs, so don't hold your breath in anticipation of getting a new Sagaris.

Mind you I was looking at two fantastic Sagaris's yesterday at my local dealer. Sure is a great car.

Funky, have you spoke to the factory yet? Ask for Lisa, she is very helpfull. If she is not there then ask for Mr Oxley himself. They will be able to answer your questions.

I spoke to somebody only this morning who is affiliated with the factory. He said that any cars currently in build will be finished.

Who wants these cars that will be finished?

My local dealer has an unregistered Sagaris and two unregistered Tuscans. All are unsold. That's as much stock as the Merc dealer has and TVR and its production is tiny in comparison.

ntel ~ I havn't spoken to them since the news, but to be honest i'm going to ring them tommorow and do as scotty1 suggested on another thread and keep ringing until i get some answers. I'm also over next week and i'm going to extend the visit to drive to the factory myself and wait outside until they show me if my car is there or not I just cannot stand not knowing what's going on. If it won't be done then i wish they would say. Then i will go and buy a brand new one and get it resprayed and trimmed to what i originally wanted. I'm not someone who wants to be messed around and as such i won't mess around about getting things how i want either

Yea theres a good few unregistered sagaris'. 6ish + that i've found so far. But that's to dealers and a fair number of them have been sitting there for a good few months. I'm just wondering if any individual has actually placed an order and recieved it within the last six months even.
