A couple of people from a friends area rented an LP640 for the weekend and crashed it while showing off! His sister took some pics of it yesterday while passing...

It's sweet justice in a way. The group of guys who rented it take the piss in the area. The even try to get people to pay a "protection" fee so that their cars don't get vandalised (Guess who does the vandalising if you don't pay!!)

Greys Inn Road near Kings Cross. Apparantly there are road works which form a small chicane...

I've always wondered about stuff like that - if it's such a well-known fact in the area, why don't people in the neigborhood club together and tell them to censored off if they don't want their faces to be rearranged beyond recognition? It's much the same here in some neighborhoods where the supermarket at the corner of the street closes its doors because of a very limited number of little dirtbags stealing, threatening staff etc, then the local newspaper comes around for a story and finds literally dozens of able-bodied, adult people complaining about the supermarket closing because of 'just a couple of scrotes'.
Everyone is constantly yapping into their mobile phones nowadays - how difficult is it to store a few numbers of fellow residents to call whenever there's trouble with the same bunch of kids - often they're no older than 12-13 or so - mouthing off to staffers that 'we'll be waiting for you at the door comes closing time'?

IMHO the only reason little shits get away with the stuff they do, is because we can't be arsed to put them into their place.

Hang on a sec... rented an LP640 ? How much does that cost then ? Surely the type of person described wouldn't get far in trying to rent a Lambo ? (who from?)

As an aside, if anyone wanted protection money for my car (and I have to say, as a native Londoner that I have never seen this anywhere...) then they would be strongly informed that since I know who they are, damaging my car will be a very bad mistake on their part...

Doesn't look damaged much, should be very easy to have the car back on the road pretty soon.

I belive its the second or third LP640 crash i know of.

That car's colour matches the one Lamborghini London had on display inside the hospitality suite during a recent '06 Gallardo/LP640/Bugatti Veyron event at Milbrook.

Dominic's not mug enough to rent it out though.

Hi guys,

I was at Lambo London this weekend and an LP640 in that colour was in the showroom, how many are there in London in that colour? This was sunday though so is probably not the same car.
I've never heard of an LP640 for rental either, but I like the sound of it!!

I'm not 100% on whether the car is rented or not. But the group of guys driving it normally drive around in an old Rover and hang outside the kebab shop round the corner from my friend!

When I went past at 6 today the LP640 in that colour was still at Lambo London, so it's not that one. Another one in that colour was on exotic spotter recently, so it might be that car.

The plate is V12 SHL, HPI confirms this is a LP640.

Not the nicest colour combo I've seen on a Lamborghini I must say.

I know the owner....
One of his business's is renting these cars to wealthy customers/friends. (mostly Russians actually). He's got loads of unbelievable cars and although irritating I don't think he'll worry too much about this little prang. Doesn't looked badly damaged.
His Veyron arrives in January!

Where I live (East London) a lot of young guys get together and rent a nice car to cruise around with to celebrate this.

Causes havoc with the traffic!
