PC Monitors

Sorry if this is a common topic. I was thinking of buying a new PC in the near future, and was going to use it as a whole "entertainment system", ie. get rid of my TV & DVD player and buy a computer digital aerial to plug in. I just have one question, would PC monitors be able to be connected to consoles like a PS2, Xbox, etc.?

Some can, but not many. most new, big plasma/lcd TVs have PC inputs though....
