T350C 'S'

Just wondering when a Tamora 'S' and T350C 'S' (or would that be a T390 ?) are coming out. I'm certain they will be.
Almost every other car I can think of in history (not just TVRs) start off with a base model and then more powerful versions are brought out a year or so later...

Also, a while ago there was a thread about the close ratio gearboxes not actually being fitted to Tuscan S's yet? Does anyone know what the is happening about this?

FYI - I got my new Tuscan S 1st March and it was fitted with the close ratio gearbox.

Funny that you say that - rumours are abound that there may be a few special T390's being built! In fact not just the old 4.0 SP6 but the same 390Bhp from the Tuscan S.....

Now that would be a rip-snorter of a car....

A topic on the 'special' T350s

its fairly official now, its 4k extra and for that you get bigger brakes and a 3.6L engine with 400bhp

I considered waiting for it but felt that 350bhp in a car which is just over a tonne was probably sufficient given how i drive.

There was some news story (though I can't find it now, typical) that TVR was going to fit it as standard to its cars, starting with the Tuscan S. Obviously it never happened.
