Top tip, never have a runny egg sandwich half an hour before an important meeting, oh and don't put tomato sauce in it either.

What a great idea!

It would complement perfectly the George Foreman grill I have plugged into the cigarette lighter, and the Camping Gaz stove wedged down by the armrest.

Nothing like cooking up a three course meal whilst navigating the highway one-handed!

If only a manufacturer would come up with a cupholder capable of stabilising a nice glass of port, I'd be sorted.

However, I'm sorry to say that I've spent my automotive gastronomy budget for the month on a bar optic to mount on the dashboard.

Hahaha what silly! It's an apron.

Anyway, it's illegal to eat while driving people!

The Bibs a good idea, especially when you've got two kids like mine!
Question, Why is eating and driving illegal? Surely smoking and driving should be illegal too.

The old sales rep trick was to hold the road atlas on your lap to catch the crumbs while steering with your knees while eating drinking and talking on the phone.

GPS kills that solution hence opening the market for a bib.

Its also illegal to drive a long with a phone clamped under your ear while looking forward, but acceptable to drive along staring down at your phone while typing a SMS text message because your not allowed to make a phone call . . .

And how come it's perfectly safe for Plod to drive along while holding a radio handset in one hand?

Many years ago, an oncoming car swerved across the road and crashed into the the car that was two cars in front of mine. It turned out that the driver had choked on an apple that he had been eating. Oh, after the driver had been carted off in an ambulance, a second ambulance arrived and the driver and his mate started searching through the wreck. I asked what they were searching for? The poor chaps thumb, was the reply. So I ended up helping in the search for said thumb. It was never found, and the consensus was that perhaps it had been swallowed during the accident.
So, eat at your peril while driving!

also when ur eating and driving, more likely to have a crash and then when u goto hospital u cant be operated on due to the high chance of vomiting up the food whilst under the anesthetic.....

tend to stop and have a rest when wanting to eat, phone is always off and so cant be contacted to divert half way across london on some urgent job...

OK, so you stop for a bite to eat, that is commendable but if you were unfortunate enough to have an accident after resuming your journey you still have the issue of being operated on whilst having undigested food in your stomach.

I believe, and happy to be corrected, that this will not be the case you'll be given an injection to stop it happening

my wife gave birth to our third via an emergency c section and it was explained that one of the injections given was to stop this occurrence

Do you remember something they used to sell a few years ago called a "Car John", it had male and female adaptors on it and apparently you could have a p155 whilst travelling in your car, I can't quite see the mother-in-law saying "SS pass me the "Car John" when you've finnished with it I'm burstin".
Just imagine the driver travelling on his own having a crash whilst trying to pass a white van AND water at the same time.
