What has changed

All of a sudden my computer wont let me open any links off websites. eg. www.elephant.co.uk when you ask for a quote it loads up a seperate window for this but for some reason now it does not, have tried on other computures and it works fine. I have Explorer 7 but it was doing this before. does anyone have any ideas?

Is there a setting in the options to open links in the current window, or in a new window?

First guess is to check your pop-up blocker in IE 7 and allow pop-ups for elephant.co.uk etc. Other than that - clear out all your temporary files as IE can do all manner of strange things if this directory gets too full (.bmp not opening etc.) Might be an idea to download crap-cleaner (ccleaner) and let that blitz your garbage files.

When did this start?

Have you any internet packages like McAfee, Zone Alarms Pro or Norton or the like?

Did this happen with IE6?

yeah happened with Explorer 6 and still with 7. Ive got norton. Nothing has shown up on there.come up with this everytime:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
