Police Speeds.

I was once told by a magistrate that the police are supposed to lead by example. Therefore if like yesterday 3 police bikes were hurtling down the M11 at around 90+mph and over took me, am I allowed to follow there example and do the same? They had no lights flashing or sirens going and just seemed to be cruising along at 90 to 100.
