Britsports or Sport 2000

aren't they somewhat different championships, sports 2000 i thought was a bit more clubbie than britsports and as everyone has the same pinto motor, you stand a fair chance of being competitive if you are reasonably handy behind the wheel. I think the Junos and the Jades romp the Britsport championships on a weekly basis and all others are also-rans....
depends on budget i guess, i can see Britsports being more ££££ than S2000 as mods on the pinto engine must be fairly limited. and the S2000 Lolas are gorgeous!

Are you joking ? I won the britsports championships outright in 2005 with a Radical prosport, Yes the Junos and jades are very fast but its all about being consistent and driver ability....

my comment was a bit wet finger in the air so i appreciate your real life input!. i guess the bits of britsports i saw were the jade/juno dominiated rounds. surely a Prosport is a bit more than an S2000 car though, i thought the pinto cars were around the £10K mark and a sorted Prosport another £5K on top of that? engine rebuilds on a pinto cant be equivilent to a radical either can they?!

Just about bang on with that pablo, On the straights the radical couldn"t really live with the Juno / Jade, but in the corners..... well thats another story, this year we supercharged the radical and was more than a match for them but couldn"t quite get the fuelling correct and had to up it to 105 octane. We are now producing 330 bhp at the rear wheels reliably !
