Hi

I am in the process of purchasing an Emerald ECU for my Griff 500 and need a loom making up. Could anyone advise of any outfit that could make one of these up for me? Also I could do with some indications (you can PM me if you like, through here) of how much I should be looking to pay for one of these as well?

I live near Cirencester in the West Country

Cheers

I suspect that people like Track Car Solutions might do that sort of thing for you, or anyone used to working with aftermarket ECUs who had access to a car like yours (to get the dimensions right). If you're having the ECU installed and set up for you then the person doing that would make the engine loom I'm sure. It's only a bit of snipping and soldering at the end of the day, quite a few hours work but not very demanding.

James

I have sourced all the other bits elsewhere but please let me know if you would part with the wiring loom on its own? I appreciate that all the parts make the whole system but presumably the wiring loom would only fit a Griff wheras the ECU itself could be sold independently.

Let me know

Cheers

What would be the difference between something like the original loom (rangerover) and a high spec one?

Presumably wire quality and insulation/protection?
