I'm down to the last photo to illustrate my book on '50s & '60s GT cars.

I need a decent shot of a Ferrari 365 GT 2+2.

Has anyone got a decent digital image they could send me? Ideally a three-quarter or a side-profile to show off this car's extreme length. Needs to be a decent, publishable size in colour, at least 300dpi. I can't use anything smaller (I've run into a lot of obstacles with people saying photos are a better resolution than they actually are - I don't have the software to check it).

If on the other hand you've got a hard copy and would like to see it in a book, drop me a PM and we'll sort it out from there.

Incentive - if I get enough advance copies from the publisher, the owner of the 'winning' photo I choose can have a free signed copy.

Word of warning! It has to be YOUR OWN photo. If you send me someone else's, I end up in court.

Cheers

Sam

Are there likely to be any at the NEC Classic Car show on Sunday? If there are I'll get a snap

Not sure. It was a very rare Ferrari, released in 1967, that wasn't that popular over here. It was a massive, heavy four-seater that looked like a 250GTO that's been on the pies. None of the classic Ferrari specialists have any in at the moment, and the FOC is like the mafia at times.

I'm basically after this, but at a decent resolution and without a hefty copyright payment:

I've got a front 3/4 and rear 3/4 as well as an internal shot, but haven't got a clue as to their dpi confused They are about 1.8Mb each if that helps. There also not the greatest location or quality as they were taken a few years ago on one of the Surey runs ina car park very early in the morning hehe

At least I think it is a 365

I know you can't use it but I've got an original Ferrari brochure leaflet and even Ferrari printed them in black and white!

I think the pictures I've got are of the 365 GTB Daytona, which I assume is a different car to the one you are looking for confused

Hi Sam,
I have had a couple, i think they are fab and completely undervalued. I always take 50 photos of all my cars for sale and have got loads of this last Silver car. I will try and email you some, let me know if they are useable for you.
