2006 Production figures

Does anyone know how many cars TVR have produced in 2006 - officially?

New Zealand has a stupid law saying all cars made in quantities greater than 200 per annum must be crash tested. TVR have obviously been making more, but I was just wondering whether all the disruption this year and the impending move overseas may have reduced production to the required level!

Autocar reckons TVR made less than 100 cars this year!

AHA!!!! Its all a cunning ploy to avoid kiwi crash testing!

I'm thinking the same Jamie,should be under our threshold,hope theyll still be there though to verify the numbers.

Production over 200 requires a car to be crash tested.

Ahh - young Smolenski must have translated that one wrongly then - he's only gone and crash tested the whole company!
