DTA Pro Engine Management
Discussion
I'm nearing completion of a project using an LS1, and I'm running DTA Pro Engine Management.
Has anyone here built up an Ultima with this engine / management combo?
If so, would you be able to help me with a couple of questions?
My LS1 engine is from a 1999 Camaro.
Did you retain the stock crank sensor, or did you need to use a specific one to work with the DTA management?
Where did you get a baseline DTA engine map from to fire her up for the first time?
Here are some pics of the car, fresh with it's handmade exhausts. They were built by an ex-Prodrive F1 exhaust engineer, and they are really rather lovely :-)

Hi Cris,
I justread your email, pretty cool!
As for the question you really need a 36-1 trigger wheel to use with the dta. Mount it on the front pulley and 'pin' the pulley to the crank. You'll be able to use an ordinary sensor. This has recently been covered on here. You will also need a custom loom, I can provide one if you don't want to make your own. Stevie T may have a map or dta might help.
Oh, bring the vette up
Boosted.
