having just got the old girl back from the garage yesterday evening after 3 long months I went to put some petrol in this morning.............70 miles later I returned!!!
I had forgotten what a real privilege it is to own such a wonderful car, the sound alone nearly had a very unhealthy effect on me!!
The last 3 months has taught me not to take these things for granted, to be a little bit more careful, but also just to enjoy it while you have it, sadly these things do not last forever.

Did the same myself yesterday - Wedge hadn't been out for nearly a month
Went for what was originally going to be a short blat - 2 hours later returned home and then washed & polished her.

Shame on me but mine has been off the road for a year now due to other projects distracting me. But your trip to the garage brought back happy memories!
I've been there.......go to garage with empty tank...fill...go to drive back home but decide to take a little drive (just to warm it through)...arrive back home (eventually) with empty tank but with overflowing grin...next day go back to garage...fill tank...go to drive back home............any one watched 'Ground Hog Day?
