On the other thread, Liam was hunting for his old Chianti beast (and the bonnet ornament ), and Gaz pointed out this sale: www.pistonheads.com/sales/109153.h

That's my old car that I've been trying to track down - what on earth is going on with those alloys!? Used to have standard 16's on.

"CHIANTI STARMIST,FULL TVR SERVICE HISTORY,JUST HAD MAJOR SERVICE,TUNED,REPLACED DIFF AND COMPLETE CHECK OVER BY TVR MAIN DEALER AND IN STUNNING WORKING ORDER AND IT IS READY TOBE ENJOYED,LOWERED NITRON FULLY ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION,SPORTS EXHAUST,17 INCH DISHED ALLOYS,EXPENSIVE CD HIFI WITH SUBWOOFER AND AMP,UPDATED ALARM,AIRCON,REGURLY WAXOILED CHASSIS SO RUSTFREE,HPI CLEAR,JUST SIMPLY STUNNING THROUGHOUT"

So they've left my stereo in, and the Nitrons are still on..... worrying thing is I sold her with about 32k or so on the clock 18 months ago, so she virtually hasn't been driven (though she has drawn the attention of the BiB according to the letters I've been getting!)

I sold her summer 2005, and she ended up at a trader in Surrey somewhere, they sold her, and I have no details since. I see she still wears John's plate (the owner previous to me) though it's now a FancyPlates small one.

(PS - Mods, could you put the N50JNR registration in the thread title please, I forgot!)

Who has her now? Any one know where she's come from and gone to?

This is how she used to look:

God I miss her..... if I'd seen her up at that price, damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead..... oh bu88er... furious

Would have to do something about those alloys though!

Oh my, just bought a little tear to my eye seeing her again.....

If I could wind back the clock I would never have started my business and kept hold of her.

Hi Red, Are you still getting those letters???

Fight you for her John Not had any more letters thankfully, so Mr Owner must have been behaving himself (or at least not getting caught!)

Was thoroughly annoyed as at that price I think I would have fought you for her, taken her back - only trouble is then I'd have to fight the wife, and that's an altogether scarier proposition!

Hows tricks? We've just booked a couple of weeks in Meribel for March, so will be getting out on the slopes despite the anklebiters.

Hey,

Good to hear you've had no more trouble! Business has been pretty tough through the summer and the winter season is so far off to a slow start after all this nice weather we've been having. Its all on a bit of a knife edge just now....

Shameless plug if anyones going boarding this winter have a look at www.avalanche-sports.co.uk

Have a great time in Meribel, I'll keep my fingers crossed the snow lasts that long for the both of us!

Cheers
