the desicion is made for me.i want me dad to buy a sagaris.the problems are: the passengers footwell is not as big as the tamora's.i no the reason for it.does anyone know the cure for haveing your windows down without the back window flying up and say the speed was above 30mphheheand most importantly the NOISE.my dads tamora has tvr power supersports exhausts and decats and it flames not as much as a cerb but still quite a bit.the sag we have seen does have some nice upgrades to make it faster and louder but it is still not as loud as the tamora.now we knew the guy who had the loudest sag in the country.that was straight through all the way that was flamein like a cerbevilwith out going that far what is the nicest way to make it loud but pop and bang like a cerb and specially cirbyhehe

The best way to make it pop / bang / flame like a Cerb is to buy a Cerb!!

Work on your dad - tell him he gets the two extra seats (kind of)!

Btw, ignore the previous posts, they forget that you are a TVR owner of the future and are way too old to remember being fourteen!!

Whatever your dad gets enjoy it!

I blame mobile phone text speak....it's a curse of modern society!

Dan, try writing your posts in Word, spell and grammar checking them and then cut and paste...
I think you'll get more of a response if you do

Meanwhile, I can tell you that the Sagaris is a great TVR....but then, so, according to everyone on here, is the Tamora.
I understand if your dad is not willing to give up his Tamora, especially if it's a good one.

Followed my friend down to Le Mans this summer in his Sagaris and me in my Griff but didn't notice this feature, perhaps we weren't going fast enough rolleyes

If I understand correctly, the back window problem would come from having the catch wrongly adjusted. It's just a matter of using a pair of grips to unscrew and re-tighten the spigot which goes into the locking mechanism. Moving it towards the bottom of the glass means it goes deeper into the catch when you close the window so it's held in place more securely. It's trial and error because if you over-adjust then the window rattles when you go over lumps, but once you get it right it's fine.

Also never drop the window to shut it as this eventually makes the spigot come loose and the adjustment is lost; always rest it in position and then lean on the base of the window to secure it. This is the same principle I have used on all my TVR boots, whether fibre glass or glass.

For anyone considering a Sag, do not be put off by this apparent niggle. I drive everywhere with the window down, occasionally go over 30 mph and have never had the window pop open.

I hope this advice is useful and grammatically correct
