At least Hayden did not have to do much in the end to win. Stupid mistake by Rossi just handed it to the Yank

If there were an award for 'Most Annoying Voice on the Planet', i'd be nominating Hayden's mother, Rose! Like fingernails on a blackboard.

And Rossi's low side was exactly the same as mine at Snetterton

What part of my sentence implied he did it deliberately?

What an amazing season. Anyone who suggests Hayden hasn't deserved it is talking out of their arse... he got the most points simple as that. On top of that he's had to cope with a bike that's even more of a test bed than they all are, rossi the psychological mastermind, a lot of people who want to win one or two races at all costs and an inexperience and under pressure team mate who took him and nearly his championship out. I wanted Rossi to win but congrats to all of them, especially Hayden.

Roll on next year, only 4 months and 2 weeks to go...

Regards,

Mark

It´s the spilt seconds that count.....
Hi GP Fanz,
I do not know if the british commentary got this,
even the german TV guys on eurosport had to get an e-mail from a moan fan :
IF Rossi hadn´t been overtaken on the finish line two weeks ago,
by 2/1000 of a second, he would have the extra 5 points to be champ 2006.
My respect thumbup goes to all the riders who have had the guts to ride these bikes,
although my sympathy goes to a certain man who had to accept the laws of gravity today...banghead

If! IF! IF!

If...only Rossi had not had two significant tyre failures and an engine blow-up he'd have had it sown up ages ago!

If...only Capirossi had not been wiped out by Gibernau, missing races and not being on top form for several more, He may well have been fighting for the Championship lead!

0.002 of a second might count in one race, but there's a whole season of 'ifs' to consider.

Whatever the outcome it's still the best racing ever for a numher of reasons.... you can keep your F1 totally excellent.

I think Hayden deserved it - I also think Rossi would have done if he had won - they've both worked really hard against different odds this year and are incredibly talented - as are the other riders out there in the MotoGP field.

I guess the age old question of WSB 'v' MotoGP got answered too.

Excellent race by both Troy & Loris on the Dukes and Danni did a good job of fending off the pack from Nicky.
Shame about Rossi's crash, but Sh*t happens! Very sportsmanly of him congratulating Nicky.

Wonder in Troy will get the odd ride during next year?
