boring supermini question

Morning all - Time has come to bite the bullet and furnish my daughters nanny with a car - as her 10 year old Polo must have all the structural rigidity of a crisp packet by now - it gives me the heebies just thinking about an accident...
SEAT are doing some incredibly aggressive deals on their 1.4 Leon 5 door at the mo - which I gather is not a bad car either. You can drive one away for just £199 down and then £199 a month over 3 years. At which stage you abviously pony up some dough and keep it or chuck it back at them...APR of 4% I think. Less than what my mortgage costs me.
HOWEVER!! It's a great and crowded marketplace with interesting stuff like the Honda Jazz and the Citroen c3 around. Anyone got any views / experience they'd care to pass my grateful way?

Well, I've got a Leon (albeit a Cupra). Generally well screwed together and has been ok to run. Servicing cheaper than comparable VW (only save on labour rates). SEAT are doing some good finance at the mo. I think if you pony up some more cash up front you can even get a 0% deal, although I don't have the full details.
