Seems a lot of people were running the fuse to short this weekend!

Look at Larry Dixon here:

Look at the abuse the chassis, front wheels and the body takes! Them tyres look flat! I don't know how much more abuse that chassis can take! It's pretty old!

Next up was Grant Downing who labels himself the 'Worlds Fastest Kiwi'
I had the pleasure of seeing him burnout down the centre of the City in Wellington, New Zealand with the noise bouncing off the offices surrounding the road in April this year. Thankfully he didnt do this as it probably would of taken all the surrounding windows out!

Last up, Rod Fuller tried to impersonate Larry Dixon.

Interesting to see how the front of the chassis and front wheels are deflecting, as if an invisible elephant is sitting on the front of the car. Is this down to the percussion of the incident pushing the whole car down, or is it a product of the sudden deceleration caused by the explosion?

You have only got to look through the scene of pics and see how the panels distort and flex as the explosion takes place. One to look at for sure! If you at the A-arms, there bending upwards as the force is pushing the chassis down!
