My Turbo

Hi , i have logged in here on my dads account as my b-band does not get connected in my home until Friday , i have bought my porsche , an 01 996 Turbo , speed yellow and some nice options.

Unfortunatley i wanted the X50 but found it hard to find on a car sub 50k , my question is , how easy is it to get it up to this spec + costs etc , i am looking at having 600hp when all said and done.

Just take it to DMS and open your cheque book..

500 - 550bhp is pretty easy and a few £K from the likes of DMS - 600bhp or more is a different ball game altogether - esp if you want a reliable car that actually has a "real" 600!

Thankyou , although a weekend car it needs to be reliable! nothing worse then a car going wrong/needing bits every outing , awful!

500 sounds like a very good start , my dad had his 420 converted up to 480 (milltek,cats & re-map) and that thing bloody goes!

k16's are the limiting factor-reliable up to 500bhp by all accounts. I suggest you speak to Andy at Fearnsport.

Agreed - Andy is possibly the most helpful and friendliest Porker fixer upper you are likely to meet - ask anyone at Vmax!
