head in. They aint this slow taking the direct frigging debits are they?I would like to add the word 'lying' to the thread title please.
Involved in a minor car park prang, stationary car pulled out of space into side of me - other person driving company car, all but admitted liability, very amiciable.
His insurance then offer 50:50
, saying their client was still moving and I 'overtook' and cut in front. Even my ins. company thought this fishy and requested their clients statement.
After three months and FOUR 'reminders' the other company send the statement - and strangely
it agrees with my version of events, not the version stated in their first letter!
Ermmm wouldn't that be attempted fraud by the other blokes insurer then?
Still not sure if OK yet though, 'cos my insurers have sent a letter asking for 'them' to admit liability on teh strength of the matching statements, and 'they' are almost due for their first reminder 'cos they have not responded again

I'll second this sentiment.
My girlfriend went round the wrong way in a car park, saw someone coming into the carpark and decided to stop (she knew she was in the wrong). Anyway, girl coming into the car park panics and hits the accelerator and drives into a parked Z3!
My girlfriend and her Mum check she's ok, she admits hitting the accelerator etc...
To cut a very long story short, girl was driving her Mum's car and her Dad came to collect her, took my girlfriend's registration details and we have ended up having to accept a 50:50 split after two years of fighting.
