Ctrl+b will put text into bold (and also take bold off)

Alt + O will take you to the formatting menu if you don't want to mouse click.

Quick ones I use a lot are CTRL + C to copy and CTRL + V to paste, as well as Alt+E for the edit/paste special option. Good ones for navigating round a spreadsheet are END + HOME, which takes you to the bottom right of a range (and the reverse CTRL + HOME).

I seldom use the mouse for navigating and formatting now, as I find the keyboard shortcuts much, much quicker.

yes

F2 is a good one; to edit cell contents, especially if you have a huge formula/lots of text.

I use CTRL+1 quite a bit to get to the Cell Format options - changing from text to number, aligning text, merging, that sort of stuff.
