get an independent to look at it. Their livelihoods depend on doing this sort of stuff well. I wouldnt be happy with a dealers view.
I got Rob Ingleby (famed TVR checker) to check my Tuscan out at Blackpool. He did have to travel from Northamptonshire but the cost of travel and production of a very full and detailed report surprised me. Very reasonable for the time and effort Rob spent.
