Looks like automated policing is actually having an effect on crime... The girlfriends ex had both his number plates stolen yesterday rolleyes So, he's now ready for a tug as soon as the tickets start rolling in. Helpfully the police gave him his crime reference number though. Did they bother to check his car for prints? Did they arse.

Nice one politicians, welcome to the world you created banghead

mastic the plates onto the car

pain in the arse if you've got a personalised plate when you come to sell but at least you don't have to mix it with with the great unwashed down the nick if they do go walking

Put two plates of copper on the back of the numberplate, so they cover the whole plate with a gap in the middle. Battery negative to one side, battery positive to the other.

Scrote goes to take plate, and...

(Please don't do it really, I'd hate for you to be the lucky winner of Britain's last jail place...)

I assume that these plates would be used for a quick job, rather than a clone attempt. Cloning really doesn't work once the owner finds out, and no number plates one morning is a pretty big heads up.

...nothing happens because 12volts isn't enought to even give a tingle, unless it's on your tongue!

Unless you wire it to your HID headlights or an ignition coil...... rolleyes

Failing that just stick razor blades on the back and at the ends of the plates.
