So, I guess those summer gloves I bought a few weeks back can go in the bin then!! My fingers hurt this morning, as they were so cold. It's taken me an hour just to write this!

Nearly turned my heated hand grips on this morning.

I may even have to get my heated jacket out as well!

Got those HG Pathan(?) Lobster type gloves.

Really warm and keeps the finger tips nice and toasty too.

Yeah, sorry, but I've had my share of UK winters on a bike and it's one of the reasons I moved. It's now just getting cool enough to wear leathers.

Had the heated grips turned on to full roast this morning. First time since I bought a new control unit, as some lowlife had half-inched the previous control knob while the bike was parked in the street at work. So now I have to disconnect the unit every time I park the bike, grrrr.

Lovely mate, I'm v jealous. Fantastic roads ovwer there as well, and fantastic attitudes towards bikers from car drivers.....They all know who's the boss!

We had a week over there in june and loved it.

Another vote for the HG pathans. Had their first outing of the year last sunday - top ride out to Thirsk - Helmsley - Stokesly. Not cold enough yet for the liner gloves. No heated grips though, think I'll just stay inside then!

Nancy boys! I put a jumper on this morning and was sweating: god knows what it would be like if I put the thermal lining back into the jacket.

Not sure about this grit going down tho: u think I'll get to practice riding on ice tomorrow? hehe
