Aha! What timing, I am currently getting quotes for replacing mine. I am not an experienced eBayer, I notice there are 5 available, how does that work if I get outbid?

So far I have:

a. Two quotes from Leven
1. for an all-in fitted price of £280
2. or a do it myself price of £180 for a new screen which I have to fit

b. a 7-day send away and return it price of £180 from Keith @ Clever Trevor. This of course puts my car off the road for a week and involves me taking the dashboard to bits.

If I can get one off eBay for less than £100 I'll have a go at it myself, if I can't then I guess I will just bite the bullet and go for the all-in quote from Leven.

Buy from ebay and use the money saved to get leven to do it?

Please remember the following points
1) Our screens are to an improved design (They are the Clevor Trevor ones)
2) The screens we use are ready to fit and have all the pins already in place. Are the Ebay ones ready to fit?
3) We would reluctant to fit a customers own screen in case it does not work. There are all the problems of 'was it the screen or the fitting' and who is going to pay our time for a job that has not worked!
