For all those who came to the LIverpool TVRCC meets (Quinny, Pink Chim, Black Monday) could someone let me know if any further meets are planned, now the good (well better) is on its way it would be good to meet up and go for a blast, I know the website has not been updated for some time, could you drop me an email and let me know of any future plans, it would be great to get out and about again. If anyone else is interested drop me a line, thanks

Thanks, Richard. When the run-outs come around, where will details be available? Liverpool is just about too far for me to get to one of the regular meetings (I go to the Bollington branch).

We don't meet in Liverpool, we meet just off J27 of the M6 but its still a long way for you....

I will try to post events in advance in the Events and Meetings forum of gassing.

We have a lot more activities planned for this year but I don't have dates for everything yet and I also don't want to post things to far in the future.

A bit more information on May and June for anyone interested.

There are lots of events going on this year, May and June are listed below,

We have more events in planning for the summer, including runs out, Karting, clay pigeon's, bbq's, sprints & motorsport events, evenings out, events with other regions, camping (or B&B's!) & family events (lots of kids in the group now) etc. etc.. Bring along any idea's that you have to the next meeting which is Wednesday 7th May at the Rigbye Arms.

On Sunday 11th May we are planning to attend a run out with the Blackpool and Cumbria Regions, we will give the details out at the next meeting (when I find out what they are).

The following weekend is Back home, on Saturday 17th May we are again putting on an autotest on the large car park, Blackpool region are arranging the concours at the same time at the other end of the car park so it will be a busy and interesting day. This year we have lots more space so the autotest will be less tight and a bit easier and quicker, we need some helpers to set up the event and help during the
day.

The following weekend (May24/25th) several of us (the Ashworth brothers, John, Mick, myself and maybe a few more) are competing in the sprint at Ty Croes on Anglesey. Its a great circuit and a fun day out. We will be there both days but if you fancy it why not come down to watch. When you find out what's
involved, maybe you will enter next year after you have seen what fun it can be.

The following weekend (31st May / 1st June) there is a Classic Car Show at Tatton Park, John Mleczek is arranging entry's and you can attend for one day or both, camping is available on site. Please note
that places must be booked via John so ring him if you want to go (and get in for free). You can turn on the day but you will have to park in the normal car parks (not on the TVR club stand). If the weather looks good that weekend and you haven't booked with John why not come down anyway?

On the following Wednesday (4th June) we have our monthly meeting at the Rigbye Arms.

The weekend of the 14th/15th June Le Mans 24 hour race is on and several local members are going including John Morgan, Jon Lowey, Ian Francis and Simon Allred.

The same weekend for those not attending Le Mans, there is a run out on the Sunday (15th June) with the Blackpool region, details to follow.

On the weekend of the 21st/22nd June the Donnington VSCC meeting takes place. Mick and Jim rave about this event and if you would like to go speak to Jim Edwards for more details.

Other things to note;

Woodvale is on the 2/3 August, this is a great show with lots of things to interest everyone and every age, we are thinking of camping over and filling the stand with TVR's on both days this year, let Ian Wasteney know if you are interested, also we need to pay the huge £2 entry fee to Ian in the next month or so.

Digital Photos, many of us have been using digital camera's for the last year or two at meetings and events. I think it would be a good idea to pool the pictures and produce a CD with them all on. I am willing to collect all the pictures and mass produce a CD (for free) if everyone thinks that it is a good idea. If you agree put you pictures on a CD (or floppy's/email) and let me have them.

Happy TVRing
Richard

I've been out of the loop for awhile as my Tuscan I have parted ways to make way for a house (with a garage for my next TVR!)

Speaking of houses I'll be moving to another part of the country as well, but I'm more than happy to keep the Liverpool TVRCC website up-to-date if someone wants to email the details to me.
