Alternative Wheels again

I quite like the look of the Pro Race 1.2 wheels. I THINK they are the right sizes and offsets? anyone know?
I like the fact that they are racing wheels.

No idea if they are mega money or whether they fit TVRs etc...

agree they look nice .. I like the drifz style shiny outer black inner .. all a bit tarty I suppose

The benefit of the ones that I picked out is that they are prob 25% lighter than the spiders?

Make sure they're forged rather than cast - that's where the weight saving is.

the 15 inch version......
Designed to be the lightest heat-treated cast alloy 7.0 x 15 wheel on the market today, this wheel is some 25% lighter than a comparative conventional cast alloy road wheel. This is achieved through developments in Computer Aided Design and Finite Element Analysis, complete with full impact and fatigue testing. All conducted in house.
Wheels are now in use by Peugeot, for their one make series, and many other teams are expressing interest.

They even got them in decent 9" rims for both 17&18", not sure how they would look on the car though. Halfrauds always have special deals on these sort of wheels, might be worth an enquiry.

The Pro Race 1.2 wheels are not ordinarily available in the right specs. Our SP12 wheels are based on the Pro Race 1.2 casting and are the correct sizes, offsets and weight optimised (including machining to rims to remove lettering cast into rim) and can be supplied with TVR logos. Also available in black (have pics on a Cerb - just don't know how to post them!).

The SP12 (18" wheels are 3kg per wheel lighter than 18" Spiders. Forged wheels can offer additional savings but the relationship between weight saving and price becomes exponential: to save an extra 2kg will typically cost you three times the price.
