Broke my mirror!

To questions.
Is the glass from a CX or an XM? or am I better off going to a TVR dealer?

I broke it while I was trying to see how to tighten up the body of the mirror cos it's a bit waggly.
The bible says to prise up the plastic cover. when I try to do this it won't move up far enough to expose the grub screw (assuming I'm looking in the right place!). Having already broken the mirror I don't want to force it & cause even more damage. Can anyone offer advice?
