ARGH!! My G/F spilt red wine on the carpet!! eek

So I run downstairs and get changed (at sametime of course ) and literally jump in the car and boost it to the 24 hr Tesco to get some wonder stain remover (hopefully cry) and blast it back. This is the part thats actually relevent to the title.

I'm behind a fairly large X5 about to go onto a roundabout. He's turning right, I'm going straight and I've got no time to lose, so drop to 2nd and applied the right foot. Pasted the X5 no prob, but as coming off the roundabout at my exit, there's the BIB heading the opposite direction and I'm doing just over 40 mph yikes I promptly applied my right foot again ( to the other pedal this time) and smoothly sailed past. The bobbies were just getting onto the roundabout and luckly I lived just round the corner, so I was parked up within 30 secs

So the million dollar question is, will I be waiting to receive a nice little letter through the post in the next 14 days?

Also, should I wait!?

You should have used white wine to dilute it straight away.

Put a dash and soak up.

Repeat process until all out.

With the police you are safe.

can't you get done for speeding on the evidence of 2 BiBs without a speedo or speed measuring device?

Yep you can, all BiB are treated as expert witnesses. It's unlikely that you'll recieve anything, You appeared in front of them off a roundabout. They would have had seconds to assess your speed and decide if was worth doing anything about.

I pulled out of a junction (turning left) and gave it a bit of beans, it didn't take long to hit 60 and the flat four was on full chat as a panda car passed the other way. We briefly made eye-contact and I returned to the 50 limit and kept an eye in the mirror to see if he'd bother having a word. It appeared as though he had better things to be doing.....

Actually I'm intrigued about this new range of X5 wallpaper that allows you to do the decorating while on an emergency Tesco blue light run.

I mean BMW should be selling self pasting paper surely? Plus what's the pattern like, all on the right hand side and lots of front foglights, but no indication of how hang it?

Sorry Ted.....
