Potty Time

I went out and did the "lift bonnet with engine running in dark" stunt earlier....

For those of you over 35ish you'll know what the title relates to... think Michael Bentine...!!!

There was what looked like a miniature light show all over my engine.
A mini war going on with flashes of gunpowder...

Little flashes on both sides on ALL 8 leads not only near the rocker covers but on the plug extenders AND around the King lead at the coil..
Thing is engine is still running pretty smooth but was getting small amount of pinking under load..
Looks like its time for new leads.. Would anyone do Yellow leads..

Going for new plug extenders too....mmmm shiney...
Any suggestions, feedback...

I did the same thing last night, so dark in the garage I could see my hand...........

Nothing , not a flash, not a hint of any spark ( and yes I had started the engine)...I was hoping there would be something.

Still trying to find the cause of rough running...

Castle race engines, do their own very good quality set of leads, and also supply extenders for a very reasonable price and I experienced excellent service as well,They sometimes advertise on ebay.
