Anyone know of any Ultima tuners (particularly for suspension / handling). I'm looking for advice and someone to fit upgraded springs and maybe an ARB to optimise the handling for trackdays.

Thanks

Why not try and find a race team/company that prepares race cars to do a setup for you?

Would be expensive but you'd get the best results

I have a spare set on factory supplied ARB's that were fitted to my GTR but have now been removed.

They are however missing one rose jointed drop link but I am sure that the factory could supply this missing part.

Cheers

I take it you've already applied the factory recommend/suggested settings to go from road to track?

Ted factory set my car at the safety check for soft road touring. Basically, high (to cope with the ferries) and soft (suspension at 5 clicks front and rear).

Took it to a race circuit in Italy without any changes - and Woo-woo wow-wa (yep, just seen Borat) handled like a jelly on a plate!!

After a chat at the open day, I had the set up for the track. Dropped it lower front and rear, and 35 clicks all round. Total transformation!

I guess you might be after a little more precise advise that this, but if you haven't done already - ask the factory........

Cheers

Pete

To Moog: I got kw-suspensions (www.kw-suspension.com/en/). KW equips a lot of teams starting at 24h of LeMans, German DTM-Series, 24h of Nuerburgring....At 24h of Nuerburgring f.e. 60% of the cars with KW-Suspensions won within their category. As I have a friend with a personel contact to their racing division (kw-competition), I could arrange that they manufactured a 100% individual suspension set-up for my 2005/2006 GTR. I got fully heigth- and 2-way stiffness adjustable stainless steel/alloy oil-dampers with seperate oil-reservoir for each one. I drove them for nearly 4000 km yet and they are just perfect. With 3.500 Euros (approx. 2.350 GBP) it was quite expensive, but it was a 100%handcraftet one and as I already said it was the first on, so they had to do a lot of measuring, testing....
