Mobile, changing to PAYG, can number be kept?

Does anyone know if you can keep your mobile number if you change from a monthly contract to a PAYG sim card?

Yes. Ring your service provider and they will send you a new sim. At least that's what orange did for the boss.

Yes - I've done it with 2 phones on Orange. Ring 'em up and they send you a new SIM.
