just thought i better introduce myself before i ask 1000 questions!
Im Brett, living in scotland and im in the Air Force
and i need some advice!
Im curently looking at getting either a Jaguar XKR or a TVR cerbera 4.5, they are both about the same price for an older one, my main concern is running costs (not including petrol!)
so i thought i would ask the people that know....
how much do people spend a year to run an XKR not including fuel etc? and are the piston liners as bad as i have read up on and how do i know if they have been replaced?
The main thing puting me of the XKR is the auto box.... having not driven one yet what is it like? iv spent quite a while trawling through google etc trying to find a manual conversion but as yet im havng no luck!
i curently have a XJ6 series 1 2.8, but i want something a lot quicker as iv just sold my 520 BHP 300zx although i may keep the xj6
