workshop manual
Discussion
No disrespect to the bible as it's a good reference but a substitute for a workshop manual it ain't. There is no TVR specific manual but there is a wealth of info online (not least, including here), and by accessing resources for the 'donor' cars that various 'bought in' bits came from. The TVR derived stuff tends to be easier... do you really need a manual to suss out velcro, sef-tappers and glue?

Many thanxx for your help-have that one already. Does anyone know why there do not exist workshop manuals like from many other cars like Corvettes for example?
Because a lot more Corvettes were produced than Chimaeras/Griffiths!
You can get a Range Rover manual for the engine, Sierra for the hubs, Cavalier for the steering column etc etc - but most of it's straight forward and the bible covers the rest.
Yeah, you are absolutely right, many more Corvettes than TVRs but all TVR dealers should have been provided by the factory with workshop manuals to do the service work, don't they? As far as I know from the Corvettes, exploding diagrams were needed for car production by the mechanics in the factory. Cannot understand why it seems to be so different with TVRs??? What Do you think about a Range Rover workshop manual concerning the engine-I was told that due to many specifications done by TVR, these manuals are not very helpful, even for 400 Chims?
