This bloke, Lou Manna seems to have a well respected book on amazon.co.uk.
Just googled about and the book has good reviews from amazon.com. Only one on amazon.co.uk but it seems to have gone down well in America.
As I say, not personal expirence but have a gander Bob.

I got some great glistening cowshite photos this week, admitedly they lacked steam, but that must count for something, shirley. LongQ said:
No need. Just get yourself a suitable camera, like my Pentax Optio S5i, which has a "Food" subject setting. Can't go wrong.
Perfectly delicious results every time. Hands it to you on a plate. I was bowled over.

I wonder how much the top food photogs earn each year (not that Id want to do it full time, I wouldnt (and couldnt if I wanted to, which is the more valid point).Just googled about and the book has good reviews from amazon.com.
