Sorry guys, another 'not sure what it was' spotted.

This morning on the A272 (thats Sussex for you northerners ) was what I think was a 288 GTO? It sort of looked like a pumped up 308? Or have I got it completely wrong?

Looked 'manly' in a dated kind of way.

Anyone post up pics of likely candidates so I can confirm/deny?

Bloke had one on the Graypaul European tour I went on last year. Blasting along the Italian coastal roads with one of those sat in front of me is quite a memory.
