Not sure if this is the best section to put this in ... but i will see what advice i get

Ok the situation is this , i am currently considering moving abroad or even relocating to england (currently live/work in scotland) to work for a few years (i have no ties atm , and feel i would/could benefit from this)

24 Years Old
Driving License
i have an HND in computing science
4 years experience in the sales / insurance industry aswell
2 years experience of insurance underwriting

Currently earnings are approx for arguements sake £20k P.a , but ideally would be looking for more.

Does anyone have any advice on what field / where i should be looking for jobs ? any 1 done a simmilar thing ? any experiences both good / bad

i dont really know where 2 start looking tbh , so any advice would be greatly appreciated

Regards Ross

I didn't think England counted as "abroad" if you are currently living in Scotland!

In my warped view I thought you were regarding England as EVEN more abroad than "abroad"

As I'm Irish, and DID move to England (20 years ago) and it turned out to be more "abroad" than I anticipated.

Having said that, I'm still here.

Bear in mind that many places in England are pricier than Scotland to live, so you could see your excess earnings swallowed up!
If you can, earning £20k in Scotland and owning property is more profitable than earning more and renting in England.

Not saying don't do it, but just another angle to look at!
