Did about 100 miles in the Chimaera today.
Down to Coalhouse Fort,Tilbury, then into Romford and then up to North Weald this afternoon.

Only saw 1 other TVR today, a Grey wedge coming out of Brentwood towards Pilgrims Hatch.

Saw loads of them yesterday (when I was in the Supra).
A blue Griff on the A14/A11 going past Newmarket, before turning off for the M11 Northbound.
Saw a Blue (I think) Chim and a Grey Griff heading north up the M11.I think I saw another Chim heading up the M11, all between Stansted and Duxford area.

Yep been out today also...added about another 150 miles towards my running in.

Its incredible what a Tuscan does to some people! Although I've only had the new Tusc for 2 weeks now my previous Chim never got this much attention. This weekend is the first time I've experienced people hooting their horns at me and basically going mad waving, thumbs up etc....crazy

ACE DAY ! Started out by seeing a Griff (L14 TVR) going the other way, followed by a Yellow Tamora (K7 ---) about 5 cars behind.

Cleaned the Griff properly and had a run around. Loads of admiring looks and even boy racers dangling out of a 205 GTi shouting "Look, a TVR!". How good does that feel?!

Popped into Motorworld to get some oil. Whats it for? asked the woman in the shop. When I told her, she screached and ran to the window to look at it and nearly had an orgasm. If she was a bit younger I'd have asked her out!

Roll on summertime, great weekends ahead....

Me too. A full tank of optimax put to the sparkplugs. Top down motoring doesn't get any better.

Only bad thins was a car full of mid-20s lads deliberately trying to push me off the road and cutting me up at a couple of roundabouts.

Yeah top day indeed! Drove my girlfriend down to Bicester - saw a lovely green Griff parked up in the town centre as we were sauntering back from lunch. Rushed to get mine, but he had legged it (wheeled it?) by the time I got back. Dropped off the bird at her place, and then enjoyed some "spirited" driving back to Leamington.....

Massive faux pas in that my MOT ran out 10 days before I expected it to. Therefore the chim was sat in the garage all day! Now booked into Hawthorns on Weds as the new owner picks it up on Sat. Tuscan time!!

Perfect weather to get the most out of the v8. Cool air adds to the power and the dry roads enable it to be applied to the tarmac liberally. Spent Saturday morning giving it loads of wax (but not Ruby) and a full interior clean out (but not colonic lavage). Amazing how Starmist Blue comes alive with the sun at certain times of the year - with low winter sun it never seems to give the deep blue sparkle in the way it does once the sun gets to a certain height in the sky. So a complete tank of Optimax was vapourized over the weekend just blatting around for the sake of it.

Saw a Cerbera and a Chimaera in convoy (?) in Bookham on the A246 on Sunday and a Wedge in the same area on Sunday. Anyone here?

Thats cheap considering 97ron at BP is 86.9 which is outrageous.

We were out this weekend too - fantastic time:

Sat: Quick trip to Salisbury (Saw Green Chimaera and Silver Cerb in Town Centre while I was walking around and an S3 at the bottom of Devizes Road)

Sun: Down to Lymington via Romsey (Saw a couple of Chimaera's including a nice Crimson one in the small car park near the quay in Lymington.)

Fingers crossed for another good one next weekend?

Big weekend for me ~500 miles down to Devon and back

Excellent roads and the cars running sooo much better after a good run

Took in a good amount of scenery and possibly the worst nightclub in the world "Carina's" in sunny Sidmouth

In addition to getting through a tank of petrol by inventing places to go, I gave it a good post-winter Zymoling. Amazing how much smoother the engine is & how much better it pulls!
