D&C TVRCC v Splinter group - Common ground ?

Devon and Cornwall's monthly meet today and dare I say it ,a bit more like it should be about , a good thrash (yes John , THRASH!) from Ivbridge down to Liskeard with a grand selection of Blackpool's stable in the glorious sunshine (yes U.K. SUNSHINE!) followed by a lunch and a pint in the sun before a couple of us gunned it back up the road for a flutter at the point to point meet at Buckfastleigh , I still get the feeling though that some of the old school might not be quite as interactive when it comes to new ideas for meets etc. that don't revolve around sitting in a pub?
