Its back....and a little different
Discussion
While having the diff repaired I thought I would have a little work done. Stock alloys were looking a little tired and have seen black on other yellow cars. Think it works well with the AP racing brakes showing through from behind.
Was not totally sure of the tints in the windows but pretty dark from outside and good from the inside.
And I know its a success, as I walked back to my car this afternoon in a car park three youths were standing by the car - taking photo's!!

Looks very nice I think its just crying out for a spoiler though....
I like the spoilerless look, but if I did go for one I'd have one of these...
Howabout that...even got a yella one for you Alan. This guy actually changed the rear end from the 04 to the 05 look here ....v nice!
Okay before anybody calls me a Chav (which you probably will) how about the following (thought of doing this for mine but haven't got the guts - yet).
Why don't you paint the letters on the tyres white (like the formula one cars) so that you hi-light the 'Goodyear' or 'Bridgestone' - It used to be popular in the late 80's.
Personally I think it would look really cool with the dark wheels.

That's the spoiler (JHP) I'm after for mine. Also considered colouring the rear diffuser as well. I've already got the rear VXR lights.
The spoiler is quite subtle and I think it finishes off the rear end quite well. If I went for the VXR/HSV spoiler, I guess I'd have to go the whole hog and put on th full VXR kit.

Bought November 04 from Lance Owen Ltd where it was first registered in April 04 and owned by them. I was led to believe.
Not sure about having a boot spoiler, wanted to keep the car more of a q car. Think the lip spoiler would be the one to have as that looks nice on the GTO. Picador's reckon a new style bonnet would be the next step too but personally am dead against it.
Not a lot of thought went into the wheels apart from having them black, next question was matt or gloss. Yellow line could look good as could having a mix of silver but I did not want it looking too fussy.
VXR rear lights also look like a good idea as would fit in well with the colour scheme.
Car passed an important test today, my daughter seemed to find the darkened windows 'fine' so I got away with that mod too.....

I think its just crying out for a spoiler though. The Monaro looks so bland without some kind of rear boot spoiler.
