As a purist, I would say 'pure manure'. But as a Petrolhead, I would say that's an incredible project and whatever floats yer boat as they say!

P.S. If I had the time, bugdet & space I would build myself a 200mph kit plane and keep my Porsche standard.

Surely if you are going to spend that much money on a GT1 replica you need to drop a turbocharged flat 6 in there?

I'd agree with that. The project looks reasonably thorough otherwise, and a step above the usual mutton-dressed-as-lamb efforts. But for 100k+, I'd rather something that was a car in its own right rather than a pastiche.
