3200GT - Fuel ?
Discussion
Hi All,
My 3200GT came without an owners manual (currently trying to get hold of one second hand before buying from Main Dealer). Anyway, my question is to do with Fuel Grade? Been putting Optimax (or equivalent) petrol in but what's the recommended fuel grade? What all you 3200gt owners running on?
Thanks

Don't buy an Owners manual from a main dealer - save yourself some dosh and try Eurospares.co.uk (speak to Keith or Claudio) instead.
For fuel, use Optimax (reformulated V-Power as Shell now call it) if you find it but always Premium Super unleaded. All cars sold officially in the EU have to be capable of running on a min of 95 Octane and Masers and Ferraris are no exception. Their self-adapting engine management systems will give better performance and ensure optimal running. The cheap crap (regular unleaded) is only an absolute last resort but it will not damage anything.
Interestingly, on a recent trip to Poland I saw that V-Power is widely available as 100 octane but haven't seen it here yet. Bad PR with an idiotic, so called green, regressive Government perhaps.
Hope this helps
