Strange Fluid moving in 993 ???

The last few mornings have been really cold first thing and when I start my 993, it seems to make a strange noise which sounds like a toilet or water tank refilling ! It lasts for about a minute but is very prominant from inside and outside the car.
Is this normal ? Does anyone know what im on about ?....

about 11 litres of oil going about their business, lubricating and cooling.
Have you checked your oil level, just to be sure you have enough in the system.

Agreed - oil flowing from the tank to do its stuff.

Is it an n/a or a turbo?

If it's a turbo you will have an assisted clutch which runs off an accumulator - when the accumulator is building pressure you can get a noise like this.
