Hi all

I have my picture database on my laptop, and I have an external USB hard drive that I use just to back it up. Is there a program (or a way in Windows) I can have it simply sync every time I connect the drive, rather than having to copy across new folders and work out what's changed each time?

Thanks!

The 'briefcase' folders enable you to keep offline copies of files synced.

If it's WinXP you could look at SyncToy. It's not automatic but it will synch anything to anywhere (USB drive, Network path)... might be more flexible.

It is indeed XP...in which case I'm going to go and have a look for that. Thanks!
