Oh dear.

This sort of stuff worries me, as the Lambo world is VERY small and there's always a chance you know the people effected.

Condolences to her family and friends, whoever they are.

Anyone got any more info yet?

As Mike said, the community is small, and I know several people around that area that I have not been able to contact since yesterday.

Any updates are appreciated.

Alan.

My parents live in Cowbit (small vilage 4 miles away from spalding) i've just asked them what they know. Awaiting reply. Tiny little town and it will be the talk of it for ages.

The A16 has had a few fatalities over the years, it when people try to overtake not being able to see properly. Remember the bus full of imigrant workers that hit a lorry head on last year? A16 in lincolnshire. not a nice road IMO.

awful sad news indeed but i have to say that no 21 year old should be behind the wheel of such a car.

That's a bit of a sweeping statement isn't it?... We know very little in the way of facts and with all we know, this girl could have been racing karts since she was 7 and had benefitted from a faultless driving record since she was 17... 4yrs of ploughing up and down the UK's roads is plenty enough experience, so surely it is a question of maturity and character... something that can't be judged from a 2 paragraph news report.

Couldn't agree with you more there, too much of a generalisation.

is your statement any less sweeping? go karting? faultless driving record? where you getting all that from? my post was merely an opinion but you are making things up out of thin air to try and support your argument.

but to say 4 years experience is plenty is something i cant agree with. ploughing up & down a motorway makes you a good driver does it? have you seen the driving standards of the average 21 year old in this country?

these cars are powerful enough to catch out the most experienced drivers (witness all the recent murcie crashes) and putting them in the hands of youngsters is asking for trouble.

regardless of our opinions its awful news & my thoughts are with her friends & family.

So does anyone know what sort of Lambo she was driving?

It seems odd that she would be be sadly dead and the other driver okay, if she were in a modern Lambo, like a Gallardo.

To me this would indicate that she was in an older car with less crash impact protection...

I googled the name published in that article. Do you think this could be her or just a coincidence?

I don't want to turn this into a thread drift as the subject matter is most tragic...

However.... don't be a tit... your post consisted of an absolute sweeping statement in that a person of that age SHOULD NOT be behind the wheel of such a car... if you actually bothered to read my response, you would have noted that I made no statements other than to say that we don't know the facts so cannot make such assumptions at this point in time. My comments relating to racing karts of motorway driving were just examples of how your firm statement could be completely out of line at this point in time.

p.s. In view of your opinions, I think you should loby your MP to push for a new law preventing anyone under the age of 50 from driving an ambulance, paramedic vehicle, police car or fire engine...

How did I know that this thread would turn into an arguament ?

I think it's fair to say that many 21 year olds would be too inexperienced to drive a Lamborghini, however many others would be fine. Frankly in general terms there is no arguament to be had, so the best thing would be for anyone that feels they need to retort to not do so.

Please remember we don't even know whose fault the accident was or anything..
